Shooting still pictures
Set the mode dial to anything except n and press the shutter button lightly (halfway).
The green lamp lights when the focus and exposure are locked (focus lock). Now press the shutter button all the way (completely) to shoot a picture.

Deleting pictures/videos
1 Press the Review button.
2 Press for previous/next picture/video.
3 Press the Delete button.
4 Follow the screen prompts.
NOTE: To delete protected pictures/videos, remove protection before deleting. (See Protecting pictures/videos from deletion.)

Framing marks indicate the camera focus area. The camera attempts to focus on foreground subjects, even if the subjects are not centered in the scene.
