The THGnotebook System connects to a notebook PC via a CardBus interface to create a portable Ethernet data-analyzing and data-generating instrument. While most, newer, notebook PCs are compatible with the THGnotebook System (see minimum requirements below), a high- performance, fully-certified, Dell Latitude notebook PC configuration is available from Finisar. This system is highly recommended. Use of a non-certified notebook PC requires additional installation as described in “Additional Procedures for Non-Certified Notebook PCs.”
